ABC GYPSUM PUTTY is a ready-to-use, multi-purpose joint filler, made of high quality binders and selected non-toxic fillers. It is suitable for a wide range of interior and weather protected exterior areas for non-structural filling to achieve smooth and seamless walls and ceilings. This ready-to-use gypsum putty is easy to apply making it ideal for simple home renovations and do-it-yourself fixes.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be structurally stable, level and dry. Make sure the surface is clean and free of paint & contaminants such as dirt, dust, loose material, oils & chemicals.
How to use Gypsum Putty
1. Mixing
Stir ABC Gypsum Putty briefly to attain a creamy, smooth and homogenous consistency. The mixture is ready-to-use.
Note: Do not add water to dilute the consistency of the premixed putty. This could lead to cracking & excessive shrinkage.
2. Application
a. Filling Joints
Apply a layer of gypsum putty to cover the joint and its surrounding edges. Embed a gypsum tape on top of the joint compound & apply another layer once the tape dries. Sand the joint compound to smoothen the applied area.
b. Patching & Leveling
For patching walls use light strokes to cover the holes. Allow each coat to dry completely. Smoothen the final coat by using sand paper prior to finishing.
3. Finishing
Follow the paint manufacturer’s instruction regarding priming & application of further paint finishes.
