How to use Redifix

1. Surface Preparation / Paghahanda sa paglalagyan

The surface must be structurally stable & level. Make sure the surface is clean & free from contaminants such as dirt, dust, loose material, oil and chemicals. If needed, acid etch the surface area to be tiled (e.g. marble or granolithic floors). For wall applications, scrape or use paint remover to clear out flaking paint from the substrate.

2. Mixing and Application / Paghahalo at Paggamit

The primer provides a rough surface enabling tile adhesive to adhere to non-concrete surfaces. Stir Redifix Primer frequently to avoid skinning.

Stir the mixture thoroughly and apply using a stiff tampico brush. Let Redifix Primer dry overnight, or at least 2-3 hours before applying Redifix Modified Tile Adhesive.

Non-concrete tile installations require extra flexibility due to tile movement or thermal deformation. Redifix modified tile adhesive makes tile installations more flexible to be able to adapt to different substrate conditions.

Apply the modified tile adhesive using a notched trowel and install tiles immediately.

Observe pot life. Once pot life has lapsed, the product will harden and lose its adhesion strength.
Note: Refer to ABC Tile Adhesive packaging or technical leaflet for proper Thinbed Method Tile Installation instructions.
